30-year-old Jason Allen, (DJ Divine), an early pioneer who was one of the first London based Gospel DJ to produce Gospel re-mix tapes, has been deejaying for 15 years. For many in the industry, he is considered a veteran, for his passion, and unique style of playing edgy, urban Gospel music. Married to Lisa Nicole (of Raymond & Co.) for 9 years with 3 children, he was inspired to become a DJ by his brother, although his first love was ‘rapping’.

A self-taught DJ, Divine’s first gig was at a house party in Bakers’ Arms, East London, whereby he developed a reputation and a loyal fan base, which led to him playing host to cities across the UK, notably, Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Luton, Manchester, Nottingham, Sheffield and St. Albans. His international platform is equally impressive, with Ireland, Holland and in early 2006, New York City under his belt.

DJ Ministry.com is a new concept, birthed by Divine in February 2005. A project very dear to his heart, the website is the first of its kind that will house local, national and international DJs, where their skills can be honed for the community at large.

Having played for a plethora of Gospel artists, to crowds of over 2,000 in various clubs around the country, November 2005, sees the launch of the ‘Believer’s Lounge’. A gathering for music lovers, aspiring and established DJs and all who wish to praise in a Spirit filled venue.
